ChristianDays Child Safety Standards

ChristianDays is a faith-based community app for sharing posts, comments, prayers, and community discussions. We do not tolerate child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, trafficking, or any behavior that exploits, harms, or endangers children.

These standards apply to all ChristianDays users, posts, comments, profiles, links, media, and community interactions.

1. Zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM

ChristianDays prohibits any content or conduct involving:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including real, computer-generated, illustrated, or altered sexual content involving minors.
• Sexualization, grooming, sexual solicitation, coercion, blackmail, or exploitation of minors.
• Attempts to move conversations with minors to unsafe external channels for sexual, exploitative, or abusive purposes.
• Sharing, requesting, linking to, describing how to obtain, or encouraging access to CSAM or CSAE-related content.
• Content that normalizes, praises, jokes about, or minimizes child sexual abuse or exploitation.

Accounts or content involved in these behaviors may be removed or restricted without notice.

2. Reporting and in-app safety tools

Users can report posts, comments, or accounts through the in-app reporting feature. Reports may include a reason and additional details so our team can review the issue.

For urgent child safety concerns or cases where the in-app report flow is not available, contact us directly:

Please include enough information for review, such as the post, comment, username, screenshot, or other context. Do not send or forward CSAM itself unless specifically required by a lawful authority.

3. Review and enforcement

When we receive a child safety report, we review the reported content or account and take appropriate action. Depending on the severity and evidence, actions may include:

• Removing violating content.
• Restricting, suspending, or terminating accounts.
• Preserving relevant information when legally required.
• Reporting apparent CSAM or imminent child safety threats to appropriate authorities where required by law.

We may also take action against users who submit false, malicious, or abusive reports.

4. External links and community content

ChristianDays prohibits using links, previews, usernames, profile text, posts, comments, or community channels to promote or distribute CSAE or CSAM. This includes links to third-party websites, messaging groups, cloud storage, or social media accounts that host or facilitate child exploitation.

5. Legal compliance

ChristianDays is committed to complying with applicable child safety laws and with Google Play’s child safety standards policy. We cooperate with lawful requests from relevant authorities and may update these standards as legal, platform, or safety requirements change.

ChristianDays values user privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the ChristianDays mobile application collects, how it is used, how it is protected, and how users can contact us about privacy matters.

1. Information we collect

ChristianDays may collect the following information when users create an account or use the app:

• Account information: email address, authentication identifier, display name, and profile image if provided.
• Profile information: occupation, church role, denomination, faith start year, church name, church verification status, bio, and privacy visibility preferences.
• Community content: posts, comments, reactions, channel subscriptions, reports, and related metadata created through the app.
• Church or region information: church name, address, approximate region, or selected church information when the user chooses to provide it for community features.
• Technical information: device type, operating system, app usage events, network status, crash or diagnostic information, and security logs needed to operate and protect the service.
• Third-party sign-in information: basic account information received from supported sign-in providers, such as Google or Apple, when the user chooses those login methods.

ChristianDays does not intentionally collect payment card information, government identity numbers, or other information that is not needed to operate the service.

2. How we use information

We use collected information to:

• Create and manage user accounts.
• Provide community features such as posts, comments, channels, reactions, reports, and profile pages.
• Help users discover relevant community spaces based on profile, church, or region settings when enabled.
• Enforce community standards, handle abuse reports, prevent spam, and protect users.
• Maintain, debug, secure, and improve the app.
• Communicate with users about support, safety, or account-related matters.

3. Sharing of information

We do not sell user personal information. We may share information only in the following limited cases:

• Service providers: we use infrastructure and authentication providers such as Supabase to store data and operate login, database, and community features.
• Platform providers: Google Play and Apple App Store may process information related to app distribution, installation, and platform services.
• Legal and safety reasons: we may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, child safety concerns, or threats to user safety.
• User-directed sharing: content that users post publicly or within a community may be visible to other users according to the app’s community and privacy settings.

4. Data retention and deletion

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce policies, and maintain security.

Users may request account deletion or personal data deletion by contacting us atsupport@christiandays.app. Some records may be retained for a limited period when required for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution reasons.

5. User controls and rights

Users can update certain profile information and privacy visibility settings inside the app. Depending on applicable law, users may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of their personal information by contacting us.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information, including encrypted network connections and access controls for backend services. However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Children’s privacy and safety

ChristianDays is not intended to be used for child exploitation, unsafe contact with minors, or any illegal activity. We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, and sexual solicitation of minors. 8. International access

This Privacy Policy is published on a public web page that can be accessed outside the app. Users should be able to open this page worldwide without signing in.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, legal requirements, or service providers change. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
